HOW WE TEST OUR FABRICS

Aurushi designs for everything our clothes go through: movement, daily friction, and real-world use with prosthetics and orthotics.

Most standard fabrics are tested to withstand 20,000–50,000 abrasion cycles—enough for casual wear, but not for repeated stress from sockets, braces, and constant movement.

Aurushi’s proprietary fabric is engineered to feel cotton-soft while maintaining its structure and surface integrity under constant friction, where conventional fabrics begin to pill, snag, or break down.

High-wear areas are reinforced with Dyneema® and Cordura®, protecting seams and zipper and extending performance where it matters most.

HSA & FSA Eligibility

Aurushi joggers are HSA and FSA eligible in the United States and approved as Always Eligible medical apparel — no Letter of Medical Necessity required.

Our Kintsugi™ Joggers are purpose-built adaptive performance pants designed to accommodate prosthetics, orthotics, braces, and other mobility devices. By supporting daily mobility, comfort, and access during recovery, rehabilitation, and everyday movement, they qualify for purchase using pre-tax HSA/FSA funds.

You can pay directly with your HSA/FSA card at checkout or submit for reimbursement through your plan administrator with confidence.

Our Start

Designed by and for the adaptive community

"When I lost my leg, I thought the hardest part would be learning to move again. What I didn’t expect was the mental weight — the frustration of clothes that didn’t fit my prosthetic, fabrics that wore out too fast, and styles that made me feel limited instead of myself.

That struggle became the spark for Aurushi. Aurushi comes from Kintsugi — the belief that repair can be a source of strength. I wanted apparel that reflected resilience, not restriction. Clothing that gave me back confidence in how I carried myself.

What truly shaped my comeback, though, was the community. Connecting with others in the adaptive world showed me that a comeback isn’t just personal — it’s collective. It’s about lifting each other up, building belonging, and moving forward together.

Aurushi was created from that belief: that adaptive apparel should honor not just the body, but the mindset and community behind every comeback."
