Can I use HSA or FSA funds to purchase Aurushi joggers?

Yes. Aurushi joggers are designed specifically for individuals who use prosthetics, orthotics, braces, or who require adaptive access for mobility and recovery. Because of their medical-adaptive design and intended use, many customers are able to use HSA or FSA funds toward their purchase.

At this time, Aurushi does not yet accept HSA/FSA cards directly at checkout. However, most customers successfully complete their purchase using a standard payment method and then request reimbursement through their HSA/FSA provider.

About HSA/FSA Eligibility

Aurushi joggers are considered HSA/FSA eligible for many customers due to their adaptive construction and medical-focused purpose, including features designed to support:

  • Prosthetic, orthotic, and brace use

  • Limited mobility or limb difference

  • Post-injury or post-surgical recovery

  • Ease of dressing, access, and durability in clinical and everyday settings

Eligibility is ultimately determined by your individual HSA or FSA plan and administrator. While many customers find that Aurushi joggers qualify without a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN), some plans may request additional documentation depending on their guidelines.

We recommend confirming eligibility with your HSA/FSA administrator if you have questions specific to your plan.

How to Use HSA/FSA Funds for Aurushi Joggers

Option 1: Pay Now, Request Reimbursement

You may complete your purchase on aurushi.com using a standard payment method and then submit your purchase for HSA/FSA reimbursement.

Because Aurushi joggers are currently offered as pre-orders, please note:

  • Payment is collected at checkout to reserve your order

  • Orders are expected to ship in late March

  • Many HSA/FSA plans consider an expense “incurred” when the product is delivered, not when the order is placed

For this reason, some customers choose to submit their reimbursement request after their order ships, using the itemized receipt and fulfillment confirmation provided by Aurushi.

We recommend checking with your HSA/FSA administrator if you have questions about how your specific plan handles pre-orders or reimbursement timing.

Option 2: Letter of Medical Necessity (If Required)

In some cases, your HSA/FSA administrator may request a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) from a licensed healthcare provider.

If required, your provider may reference:

  • Use of prosthetics, orthotics, or braces

  • Reduced mobility or limb difference

  • Ongoing recovery or physical therapy

  • The need for adaptive clothing that supports medical access, durability, and ease of dressing

Aurushi can provide supporting product descriptions if needed.

Pre-Orders & HSA/FSA Timing

Aurushi joggers are currently available for pre-order, with fulfillment expected in late March.

HSA and FSA administrators may differ in how they determine eligibility timing:

  • Some plans allow reimbursement based on purchase date

  • Others require that the product be received before reimbursement is approved

To help avoid delays or denials, many customers wait to submit their reimbursement request once their order has shipped.

Aurushi will provide:

  • An itemized purchase receipt

  • Order confirmation

  • Shipping confirmation once your joggers are fulfilled

If reimbursement timing is critical for your plan year, we recommend confirming requirements with your HSA/FSA provider before placing a pre-order.

What Documentation Does Aurushi Provide?

Aurushi provides:

  • An itemized receipt with product description

  • Purchase date and total amount paid

  • Merchant and order information

If your administrator requests additional documentation, please contact us at support@aurushi.com and we’ll do our best to help.

Looking Ahead

We are actively exploring direct HSA/FSA card acceptance through approved payment partners. In the meantime, our reimbursement-friendly approach allows many customers to use their benefits today.

Important Note

HSA and FSA eligibility is determined by your plan administrator, not Aurushi. While our products are designed to meet eligibility criteria for adaptive and medical-related apparel, reimbursement is not guaranteed and may vary by plan.
