The fabric has been independently tested for abrasion resistance using the Martindale method, a standard industry test for fabric durability. In testing, the fabric withstood 50,000 abrasion cycles without failure.

For context, many standard apparel fabrics are designed to withstand 20,000–25,000 cycles, which is sufficient for everyday wear but often breaks down quickly when exposed to repeated friction from prosthetic sockets and carbon-fiber components. Aurushi’s fabric is engineered to perform at roughly twice that threshold, helping it resist thinning, tearing, and premature wear where conventional pants often fail.

As an added benefit, the fabric also maintains its performance after repeated washing, helping the joggers retain their durability and structure over time.
